Spinning going on here. Three Waters Farm Top of the Month Club in December’s color, Burnished Sunset, on Targhee. It’s been a while since I spun as thin as I could. Normally, I go for quick chain plies that produce a worsted to bulky yarn (my favorite squishy handspun). But this time, I’m spinning fine, just to see what I can make.

Earlier this week, I had a chance to sit down with my partner in design to think about the upcoming year and make some plans. I’ve decided on a theme for the year: Finish what you start.
My goal this year is to dig into my backlog of patterns and release the ones that have been percolating for the past few years so that I can get on to other, newer things. Three kids in 5 years (oy!) have put me behind on things I’d planned to do.
2015 will be about catching up and creating new. I think that’s a pretty good theme!
